THE COTTAGES

Tarry-Stone Cottages offer 6 cottages to our guests (Apple Tree, Stonefields, Old Barn, Cobble Stone, Cherry Blossom and Autumn Leaf), all on a self-catering basis.  Each of the cottages consists of either 1 or 3 en-suite bedrooms, that can accommodate couples or larger groups of up to a total of 21 people.

Key features of our cottages include:

  • Bedrooms with queen-size beds (goose-down duvets) and heated his/her blankets throughout

  • En-suite bathrooms with shower, tub and WC (towels included)

  • Africology Amenities

  • Fully equipped kitchen with stove/oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher

  • Living and dining areas

  • TV in the living area with satellite television

  • Cozy terraces and patios

  • Outside barbeque facilities

  • Secure parking spaces

DULLSTROOM

Dullstroom, also known as Emnotweni, is a small town in the Mpumalanga province, South Africa, and along with Underberg, it is one of South Africa's premier tourist destinations.

 

The town is situated at 2,077 metres (6,814 feet) and only 2 hours drive from Gauteng, en-route to the Kruger National Park. The quaint village, known for its high altitude fresh air, has become "the place to be".  Whether for a quick breakaway to country fresh air or for a fine dining experience, Dullstroom has a lot to offer.

 

Dullstroom is known for its cool, sub-alpine climate and its misty atmosphere, reminiscent of the Scottish Highlands. Sipping red wine while enjoying the warmth of a log fire, is an accredited Dullstroom activity and, with Dullstroom's weather, our guests can be ensured that our fireplaces are used all year round.
